Safedeck
Pools are a constant source of fun and
enjoyment for all members of the family. Enjoy your pool and peace of mind with the new Safedeck safety cover.
Designed to offer protection against unauthorised access to the pool, it
also reduces heat loss, slows chemical burn-off and helps minimise dirt
and debris ingress. Engineered from high quality extruded aluminium and
reinforced PVC, Safedeck covers are easy to fit and easy to operate. |

Safedeck Cover Material
Standard Safedeck covers are made of reinforced PVC material for extra
strength and are available in four colours; water blue, leaf green, blue
and solar. The new Safedeck Plus uses a lighter, open weave, PVC coated, Polyester fabric, making it lighter and easier to operate. Triangular section aluminium profiles give easy rolling and
extra stiffness and are fitted with plastic end caps to reduce scuffing.
Both materials help to reduce heat loss through evaporation, as well as
reducing the need for dehumidity equipment on indoor pools. The
solar material can also provide additional pool heating from infra-red
light, even on dull days.
New Safedeck Plus

Safedeck Safe-Easy
Using a 24V rechargeable battery, the Safe-Easy allows effortless
rolling up of the cover. The aluminium casing is reinforced with
stainless steel to encapsulate the motor and protect against the
elements whilst the built-in support wheels mean it is light to operate
and easy to store. Suitable for covers up to 12.4 x 5.4m, or can be
ordered with an extra battery for covers up to 6.6m wide |
Operation
The cover is fitted permanently to the pool surround at one end of
the pool. To unroll the cover (cover the pool) the operator uses the
fitted pull strap. The aluminium profiles rest on the coping stones,
overlapping by a minimum of 200mm on each side. Once the pool is
covered, the operator fits the straps to the drop down anchors, and
operates the built-in locking bar to stretch and secure the cover. To
uncover the pool, rolling up is done by using either the
Safe-Easy cranking handle. |

Additions
If snow is likely to settle on the cover, extra reinforcing can be
installed at the time of manufacture to support a load of up to 150mm of
snow. For pools with a roman end on the side, an aluminium bridging beam
can be provided to support the cover. |
