DEL Roll Energy Evolution

The enhanced ‘Roll Energy - Evolution’ pool cover system from DEL is now available with the option of a solar powered motor, enabling users to reduce their energy and installation costs.

Joining the ‘Roll-Sun’ and ‘Roll-Sunny’, light-sensitive ‘photovoltaic’ cell technology converts light into electricity, which is stored in a rechargeable battery incorporated within the roller end stand allowing the cover to be opened and closed consecutively up to 30 times without the need for a recharge. Suitable for new build 'pit' installations or as a retrofit using the innovative and easy to install 'securiwall' system.

Roll Energy covers are produced from stain-resistant PVC slats and are available in a choice of three colours for any pool up to 6 metres wide by 13 metres long with either a roman or square step unit. All DEL systems can be retro-fitted and are easy to operate, each having automatic switches to ensure that the roller is accurately rolled on and off the pool every time.

Badu 90/20 FU

With a performance of up to 24m3/h, the new Badu 90/20 self priming pump with variable frequency controlled motor, guarantees to reduce the running costs of larger private or public swimming pools.

Using either a dedicated Speck controller or the 0 -10 volt output from an existing control panel, the pump can be pre-set by the user to operate at specific speeds during set times of the day. For example, the pump could run at low speed when there is a low bather load compared to operating at high speed during peak bathing periods, thereby ensuring optimum performance and economy.

For pools requiring additional overnight filtration, the 90/20 pump can generate even higher savings as it takes advantage of lower electrical costs combined with reduced performance.

Zodiac EI Salt Chlorinator

The benefits of saltwater chlorination have become easier to achieve in new or existing pools with the new Zodiac Ei express salt water chlorinator.

Available in three sizes for pools up to 40, 70 or 100m3, the unit can be fitted on either vertical or horizontal pipe work in less than 10 minutes, using its ‘quick-fit’ system that requires only two holes to be made in the filtration circuit pipe work.

With self-cleaning electrodes and adaptable polarity inversion for very hard water areas, the system’s programmable control unit has a backlit LCD display and includes a timer and ‘low-salt alarm’. In addition, a water flow detector automatically stops the chlorine release if the flow is insufficient. The entire system is backed by a two year unconditional warranty.

SaVi Melody

Replacing the SaVi Note, the new Melody is a nicheless and intelligent colour LED light source that creates even illumination and colourful lighting effects throughout a pool and spa. Fitted into standard pool inlets, the Melody incorporates a small controller within each light making it a more cost effective system to install.

Previously the number of lights fitted to a pool was prohibited, but now the only limit is the size of the transformer available, as each light draws just 14 watts so you can use up to 7 lights on a 100W transformer, and 21 lights on a 300W transformer!

Colour changes and lighting modes are simply controlled by toggling the power switch on and off.
